Refund and Returns Policy

At Rest In Power, we are committed to supporting families with dignity and transparency during their time of need. We understand that circumstances can change, and we strive to make our return process as straightforward as possible.
1. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
Customers have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return or an exchange for any standard item. To qualify for a refund, the item must be:
- Unused and in its original, pristine condition.
- Securely enclosed in its original shipping crate and packaging.
2. “Change of Mind” or “No Longer Needed” Returns
For all returns, exchanges, or cancellations initiated due to buyer’s remorse—such as changing your mind or the item no longer being required—the following terms apply:
- Restocking Fee: A standard 25% restocking fee is applied to the refund total.
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the full cost of return freight and logistics.
- Condition Adjustments: If an item is returned with damage resulting from improper repacking or handling, Rest In Power reserves the right to apply a higher restocking fee (exceeding 25%) to cover the necessary professional restoration and repair costs.
3. Damaged Deliveries
In the rare event that your order arrives with visible damage sustained during transit, please follow these steps:
- Refuse the delivery immediately with the carrier.
- Contact our support team to report the refusal.
- Upon verification of the transit damage, Rest In Power will provide a full replacement or a complete refund at no additional cost to you.
4. Custom Orders and Special Requests
Caskets or items that have been custom-built or modified to specific customer requirements are generally non-refundable and do not qualify for exchanges once the manufacturing process has begun.
5. Shipping and Delivery Details
Standard orders typically depart our facility within 1–2 business days, with an estimated arrival window of 2–7 days. Once an order has left our warehouse, delivery cannot be delayed. If a shipment cannot be delivered to the provided address, it will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the standard 25% restocking fee and return shipping costs.
6. Processing Your Refund
Once your returned item is received at our facility and passes a quality inspection, a credit will be issued to your original payment method, minus the applicable restocking fees and shipping costs. Please allow for standard banking processing times for the funds to appear in your account.
7. The Funeral Rule (Federal Law)
Please be advised that federal law requires all funeral homes to accept deliveries from third-party providers like Rest In Power. Funeral homes are prohibited by law from charging a “handling fee” or any other penalty for using a casket purchased elsewhere.
